💪 Preparation:
Method: Inverted
Dose: 18 g coffee
Grind: @comandantegrinder C40 Mk4 — 24 clicks
Filters: 2x standard paper filters, rinsed (for adhesion & clarity)
Water: 88 °C, ~60 ppm (Apax Labs: 2× Tonic, 1× Jam, 1× Lylac per 150 g distilled water)
Kettle: @variabrewing Aura Smart Kettle
👉 Method:
1. Grind coffee and remove chaff.
2. Add grounds to the inverted AeroPress.
3. Pour 100 g water in a circular motion.
4. Stir 5 times (NSWE pattern).
5. Attach the filter cap, then gently push to expel air.
6. 1:30, flip the AeroPress, give one controlled swirl and set it on your press stand.
7. Press at 1.0–2.0 g/s, stopping when the output reaches 66 g.
8. Dilute the concentrate to a final beverage weight of 152 g.
9. Cool down to ~54 °C.
10. Score 2nd place in a global brewing championship
