If you need a visa, we can write you a letter confirming your place in the 2026 World AeroPress Championship, the dates of the event, and the reason for your travel. It's free, and it takes three to five days.

We can write the letter, but we have no influence over whether your visa is granted, and no ability to speed up a consulate.

Apply at the Mexican embassy or consulate in your country. Appointments are booked through citas.sre.gob.mx.

Allow four to eight weeks from booking the appointment to holding the visa. In some countries appointments alone are booked out for weeks, so start now.

If your application is refused, email us and your national host as soon as you know.

Every competitor must register to compete.

Your registration covers entry to all three elements of the weekend — the Welcome Event, the Championship, and the Afterparty — for you and the coach you name in your registration.

Everyone else needs a ticket to the Championship — family, friends, anyone travelling with you.

Registration is open from September 1st to November 1st. The fee is $99 USD and non-refundable, and goes toward the cost of running the World AeroPress Championship.

Before you register, you'll need both of these:

• permission to enter Mexico — a visa, or confirmation that you don't need one
• your flights and accommodation booked

A registration submitted without both is not valid and won't be honoured or refunded, so please don't register early to hold your place.

If you need to change something later — a different coach, a correction to your name — there's a $25 USD change fee.

If you aren't registered by November 1st, your place goes to the next competitor from your country. That applies whatever the reason.

The afterparty is a ticketed event for World AeroPress Championship insiders, open to competitors, coaches, judges, MCs, crew, and the friends you bring with you.

Competitors and their named coach receive free entry with registration, but everyone else needs a paid ticket.

Tickets go on sale November 1st for $25 each, and numbers are strictly limited.
